Counseling as comfortable as being on your own couch

fantastic job

First of all I would like to thank the VA for sending me outside of the clinic to see a therapist to assist with my panic disorder and anxiety. Luckily I was paired with a great therapist here with gibson counseling. My therapist Mrs. Jessica Trofe has done a fantastic job so far with helping me cope with my anxiety and past trauma in the military.

She has never forced me into talking about anything that I do not want to discuss which has helped me open up more after each session. The meditations has ease my anxiety a great deal along with being able to talk with here on a weekly basis in regards to some of the things I have been experiencing mentally in the past and present. I have found this to be very helpful with coping with my anxiety. I look forward to my sessions every week. I have no problems with scheduling also which is a plus due to my work , VA appointments, and school schedule. I would recommend gibson counseling to anyone who is looking for a caring therapist who really understands how to cope with every day life situations that may cause anxiety issues or anything dealing with life period. Great therapist!! Look forward to my future sessions.

always there

I really enjoy my counselor. She is thoughtful, sincere and always there for a different perspective. I feel that I have grown in so many ways and continue to become a better version of myself.

I am so happy

I highly recommended Suzanne Bartholomew of Gibson Counseling for therapy. I received EMDR therapy for trauma and PTSD. Although the majority of the trauma occurred decades ago she was still able to treat it and we had enormous success.

This experience has greatly changed my life in the biggest and even the smallest ways. We achieved the goals I was hoping for but it did more for me than I ever expected would happen. Along with a feeling of resolution of the major traumas and incredibly reducing the fear and anxiety they produced, it trickled over into improving how I react to everyday things that would normally cause high anxiety. I am so happy I made the commitment to get help.

by far the most knowledgeable

I have had my fair share of counselors in the past but Suzanne is by far the most knowledgeable, warm, effective one I’ve had. She’s so amazing that even my husband, who was absolutely dead set against therapy, looks forward to sessions with her. I tell all my family and friends about her because everyone deserves a counselor as amazing as Suzanne!
